I was taught stained glass by the artist David Wasley and for many years have been making a variety of panels using lead and copper foil. Work includes a window for the St John’s Church building in High Wycombe and many panels for domestic houses. My focus is very much on interpreting landscape which I refine into essentially figurative but also abstract forms. I enjoy using the qualities inherent in antique blown glass and mostly work in a simple and unadorned fashion to construct lines and cuts which reveal the beauty of its colours and patterns.
I work for commissions and also produce panels and jewelry for sale.
